DERMALIGHT ILLUMINATING SERUM is an active brightening serum for pigmentation spots, developed to gradually even out uneven skin tone and give the skin a radiant glow.

It combines targeted brightening actives, including azelaic acid, arbutin and 4-butylresorcinol, with gentle AHA exfoliation from mandelic acid to help promote a smoother surface and a brighter-looking complexion.

It is especially suitable as a targeted treatment for hyperpigmentation or for skin that needs tone correction with regular use and careful SPF protection.

How it works

The serum targets several stages involved in the formation of uneven pigmentation. It helps even out the skin tone through a combination of brightening actives, while gently renewing the skin’s surface thanks to an AHA acid.

Over time, this may help soften the contrast between the pigmentation spot and the surrounding skin, while improving the overall radiance of the complexion.

Application steps

Apply a small amount to clean, dry skin, preferably locally on pigmentation spots, or in a thin layer over the face if well tolerated.
Allow it to absorb. This is a leave-on product and does not need to be rinsed off.
Follow with a cream. During the day, always finish with SPF protection.

When to use

Mainly in the evening as an active step after cleansing
Can also be used in the morning if well tolerated; SPF is mandatory when applied in the morning
If redness, stinging or dryness occurs, reduce the frequency of use or temporarily stop using the product

Combinations

Compatible with: moisturizing and barrier creams, simple soothing treatments and hydrating serums without strong acids
Best used separately from: other AHA/BHA exfoliants, retinoids and strong peeling products, as this may increase the risk of irritation
SPF / warnings: when using tone-correcting actives and AHA, daily SPF 30+ protection is essential. Avoid applying to irritated or damaged skin and the eye area.
